Dr. Ichiro Kasajima is working at Iwate University, Japan. He has Graduated from School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo, Japan, and also worked as researcher at the University of Tokyo, Saitama University, NAIST, and National Institute of Floricultural Science (Japan). Dr. Kasajima's research interests include New Breeding Technology, Apple latent spherical virus, Virus induced transcriptional gene silencing, Virus induced gene silencing, Adaptor PCR, DNA extraction and purification, DNA polymorphism, Wasabi, Color matching function, Dichromatism, Alexandrite effect (Color change), Torenia, Arabidopsis, Rice, Transgenic plants, Mutagenesis, NPQ, Cyclamen, Apple, Chlorophyll fluorescence, Quenching, Photoinhibition, and Oxidative stress.
