Dr. Daniela Giacomazza is a Head of Rheology Laboratory & also Researcher in National Research Council, Institute of Biophysics at University of Palermo. She worked as Research training at the Dept. of Physics, Union College, Technician at the Institute of Biophysics, National Research Council. Dr. Daniela Giacomazza did her Post-doc training at the Department of Physics, University of Palermo. Her Research interest lies in the characterization of new biocompatible polymers; hydrogels obtained either for physical crosslinking, gamma or ultraviolet radiations; Biomolecular selfassembly; Sol-gel transition in protein and biopolymer solutions; Gelation and glass transition; Relation between gelation pathway and structural properties of gel; Polymeric colloidal systems for drug delivery and gene therapy; Micro and nanoparticles based on polymeric molecules. Food analysis Alzheimer’s disease and Neurodegeneration. Rheology; Spectro fluorimetry.
