Dr. Andrey Beyle is a Professor in Practice of Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at University of Texas. He studied at Moscow Mendeleev Chemical Technological University and Riga Technical University. Worked many years as a Researcher in Latvian Academy of Sciences. Published more than 100 publications, including 10 chapters of books. Invited contributing author of 4 different Handbook of Composites printed in the US, UK, and former USSR. Teaching experience includes many years of undergraduate and graduate teaching at Riga Technical University (Latvia), McGill University (Canada), Lamar University, Pittsburg State University, University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Andrey Beyle research interest includes mechanics, chemistry, physics and technology of structural composite elements for spacecraft, aircraft, defense industry, shipbuilding, electrical machinery and civil engineering.
