Yiyan Peng received her B.S. degree in the Department of Chemical Engineering Machinery from South China University of Technology, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She conducted postdoctoral research in both Mechanical Engineering Department and Medical Physics Department at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and then went to Northwestern University as Research Fellow. Now she is the director of polymer lab at Evco Plastics. Dr. Peng’s research has mainly focused on material processing, advanced manufacturing, and rheo-electrical effects and their applications in advanced sensing technologies.
