Dr. Chun YANG obtained his B.Sc. degree from Department of Thermal Engineering at Tsinghua University (1985), Master’s degree in Engineering Thermophysics from University of Science and Technology of China (1988), and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Alberta (1999). He then joined Nanyang Technological University, and became an Associate Professor in 2005. He is the author and coauthor of 168 papers in referred international journals with SCI citations more than 4200 and H-index of 33. He has five US patents in his name and has co-authored 21 book chapters. He currently serves as an associate editor of Science Bulletin and also sits in several journal editorial and advisory boards, e.g., Microfluidics and Nanofluidics, International Journal of Emerging Multidisciplinary Fluid Sciences, Current Advances in Energy Research etc. His current research interests are: micro/nano–fluidics, nanofluids heat transfer, microscale heat and mass transfer, and electrokinetic transport phenomena
