Dr Z.K.Peng is the Cheung Kong Scholars Distinguished Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the deputy director of the SKL of Mechanical System and Vibration. He received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. From 2003 to 2004, he was with the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, as a Research Associate, and then, he was with Cranfield University, Cranfield, U.K., as a Research Officer. After that, he was with the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., for four years. He is currently a Distinguished Professor with the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. His main expertise relates to the subject areas of nonlinear vibration, signal processing and condition monitoring, and fault diagnosis for machines and structures.
