Dr. Shesheng Gao is a Professor in the School of Automatics at the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), China. His research interests include Navigation, Guidance & Control, Control Theory and Control Engineering, Satellite Navigation System. He has published over 180 papers in these areas in various journals and conferences, including IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, Information Science, Aerospace Science and Technology etc. As well as 4 academic monographs (including a English academic monographs). His research has been supported by the China National Natural Science Foundation, the National Defense Technology Industry and the Aerospace science and technology innovation fund etc. He is the reviewer for “America Mathematics Review”, the member of IEEE, China Inertial Technology Academy and on the editorial boards of International Journal of Intelligent Mechatronics and Robotics (IJIMR), Recent Progress in Space Technology (RPST).
