Dr. Bingqing Wei (B. Q. Wei) received his Ph.D. degree in 1992 from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware, USA. Prof. Wei’s research interest and expertise lie in nanomaterials and nanotechnology. His research interests have been focusing on the synthesis, processing, characterization, and physical properties of carbon nanostructures, carbon nanotube nanocomposites, and applications of carbon nanostructures in energy conversion and storage devices. Prof. Wei has published more than 240 scientific papers in refereed international journals and his research work has been intensively cited more than 13200 times by peer scientists with the h-index of 59.His research interest includes - Carbon nanotubes, Graphene, Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology.
