Abstract: Acacia arabica, Acacia catechu, Achyranthus aspera, and Aconitum heterophyllum are the common herbals used in Ayurveda for obesity. These herbals are mainly focused on the diminished lipid assimilation and have no clinical preliminaries, or the level of proof is restricted. In western medications, notably lorcaserin, phentermine/topiramate, naltrexone/bupropion, and liraglutide are more effective and have some side effects. Lorcaserin has detected cancer signals for animal studies in early 2010
