Abstract: There is no unique plasmonic response of nanoparticles, on the contrary, a plethora of ways to manipulate them. When there is no inhomogeneity in the system, the shapes and sizes of nanoparticles as well as the homogenous medium they are in seem to be the important parameters. More interestingly when there are inhomogeneities in the system, as in the most practical cases, interaction due to interfaces become important.
