Abstract: Ramadan is a festival celebrated by Muslims. It involves fasting from sunrise to sunset, including avoidance of water. During Ramadan, the predawn and sunset meals are different from regular meals to include more carbohydrates leading to a rise in blood sugar levels. There is limited knowledge on the extent of care for patients with diabetes who fast during Ramadan. We aim to identify the patient’s perspective on the care and management of their diabetes during Ramadan.
