Abstract: Among the array of mastopexy techniques, the peri-areolar approach offers minimal scarring and effective repositioning, ideal for mild to moderate ptosis. However, challenges in maintaining optimal nipple-areolar complex (NAC) positioning persist, exacerbated when combined with implants. This study explores the adaptation of the Silfverskiöld technique, known for its tension distribution and repair stability in tendon injuries, to peri-areolar mastopexy-augmentation closure.
