in Copacabana, Bolivia, Lake Titicaca Basin. Copacabana is situated on the
peninsula in the southern part of the lake basin. Like Puno it is situated
directly along the shoreline and there are terrace constructions on all sides
of the peninsula. These are believed to be the oldest terraces in the Titicaca
Basin.
